Rychiger Aquisition of Nuspark

Rychiger AG, based in Switzerland and Nuspark Inc., based in Canada announced today Rychiger’s acquisition of Nuspark, effective July 1st, 2019. The transaction will complement the capabilities of the family owned companies and allow them to offer fully integrated primary & secondary packaging lines to the market. The acquisition will further strengthen Rychiger’s presence in the North American market.

Michael Elent, Felix Elent and Valeri Bialler, the founders of Nuspark Inc., will remain President and Vice Presidents of Nuspark Inc. respectively.

Rychiger NA, the existing US subsidiary of Rychiger AG in Cary, IL will continue its sales and customer service activities in North America.

The two companies agreed not to disclose further details of the transaction.

Rychiger AG was founded 1918 and is a leading supplier of customized and custom-made primary packaging machines in the food & beverage, healthcare and pet food market. The company operates out of Steffisburg in Switzerland where it employs more than 200 staff. It has manufacturing subsidiaries in Switzerland and Poland and is active on a global scale.

Nuspark Inc. was founded 1999 and is a leading supplier for secondary packaging machines primarily in the food & beverage market. The company operates out of Toronto and employs more than 60 people. The company focuses mainly on the Canadian and US market.
